The hull of the new gas tanker GAS 95 has arrived in Heusden for completion. After leaving the construction yard in Serbia, the hull was transported to the Netherlands and drydocked for inspection and underwater work. After that, the GAS 95 was towed to Rotterdam for the installation of the 4 gas tanks.
Before the installation, our men prepared the decks so they could be lifted.
Placing the tanks is always a beautiful and exciting job. Two large cranes working together perfectly to position the huge pressure tanks in the right position. The tanks have to fit perfectly in the saddles. After the tanks are positioned the deck is replaced.
All the preliminary work is done the completion can begin!
