Successful completion and delivery of tanker 'GAS 95' for HGK Shipping
TeamCo and HGK (formerly Lehnkering and Imperial) already have a long-standing cooperation in building gas ships.
Back in 2008, the LRG 87 was delivered by TeamCo. This was followed by the LRG 88, LRG 89, LRG 90, LRG 91 and the GAS 94.
Teamco has recently finished construction of the innovative inland tanker 'GAS 95'. The new tanker vessel measures 110 x 11.45 metres and has recently embarked on her maiden voyage, carrying liquid gases for HGK Shipping Group. Teamco and HGK have a long cooperation in building innovative inland vessels. The GAS95 is the second tanker of this type of inland tanker sailing for HGK.
"Innovative & Eco-friendly"
The latest addition to the HGK fleet is characterised by a diesel-electric propulsion system (including preparation for 'future-fuels') and a smart and innovative hull design that results in lower fuel consumption and higher load capacity on limited draught. "Innovative & eco-friendly", according to HGK itself.
Teamco looks back on the construction of this innovative vessel with great satisfaction and would like to thank HGK and all suppliers involved for the pleasant cooperation.
